i swear, that is half-life 3 would have been announced at this E3, i would be questioning my reality. but 3 out of 4 ain’t bad. now the wait begins.
thou i can almost see the disappointment coming from fans. especially in the case of Final Fantasy 7 remake, as that one has the challenge of walking a fine line between remaining faithful to the original , and at the same time updating it to modern gaming conventions. Tomb Raider Anniversary is a good example of doing it right. its going to be hard to satisfy everyone but i think the teaser trailer put it best by saying:“ the reunion at hand may bring joy, it may bring fear, but let us embrace whatever it brings”

If it doesn't stay faithful to the original I would guess the whole "Well, the 'new generation' that haven't played it will probably like it."
But I hope it doesn't come down to the worst way... I'm at least hoping that they would make the story more clearer compared to before. I'll admit being a kid I wasn't obviously 100% about Final Fantasy VII story.
