I was just watching the film Turtles Forever which, as you probably know, is from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series and I thought it was a really interesting concept and it got me thinking about the old versions of my own characters XD
Then I watched the documentary on the Turtles on Netflix and BOOM! Art time :)

Some of you older watchers of mine will probably remember the stage I went through when I posted all my old drawings and writing on Shivu as he used to be; fluffy and grey :3

Of course Shivu has a long and multicoloured past, very different from his present self :D If you're really curious, there are many drawings of mine that explain which are all in that folder there

It's really fun to note just how different something can start off then what's it like when it's finished!
It's less fun to realise just how bad I was at writing and drawing back in the day *flails*

Fun facts...

- Shivu was originally grey, fluffy and very much a leader character who was a stereotypical main character, but throughout all his minor changes his eyes remained the same from this point forward
- Shivu originally travelled and interacted with a whole host of different characters- Storm (who later became Chikuq), Star (a character with similarities to Blaze), Sharkbait (look-wise he was very like Hotep), Kniffleg (who never resembled anyone in the later series) and many others
- Shivu was originally a Balto fan character and lived within the Balto universe
- The story he featured in was called "Shivu's Story- the Legend of the Moon" and was a written story, not a comic
- For a long time in between Shivu becoming his present design but before World of Wolves started Shivu wore a white shirt, with a red plaid one over that, and blue jeans- this was originally Shivu's clothes
