Today as a way of celebrating the fact my car passed its annual warrant of fitness test I picked up Combiner wars Autobot leader Optimus Prime and deluxe Deception delinquent Dragstrip Allowing me to create the Legendary Wave one combiner figure of ULTRA PRIME!

Up until now I’ve had a one armed Superion standing in his place, so it feels nice to have a complete figure.

The combiner wars figures have been out in the states for at least a year by this point, maybe two but they’ve finally began to show up down here at the Bottom of the world. As soon as I saw them available on shelves I quickly brought Silverbolt, Fireflight, Skydive and Alpha Bravo along with the Legends class Powerglide.

It’s rough that Air Raid doesn’t come out until a later wave so I can’t complete Superion yet, and there aren’t any Legend Rodimus toys around to act as Ultra prime’s additional armour. But give me time and I’ll acquire all them as well.

Here we can see Ultra prime in the tfwiki approved configuration standing along side Silverbolt who can be seen duel wielding his own weapon plus Powerglide.

My only complaints with Ultra prime, are minor ones such as Dragstrip is a taller leg than Fireflight leaving the combiner a bit lopsided. And because of Alpha Bravo’s arm missiles he doesn’t have much elbow articulation, but other than that I’m rather fond of the design and the weapons in the shoulder pegs placement.

I know this isn’t the typical furry art I upload in my gallery, and I’ll move it over to scraps before I upload my next image, But I just wanted to share my purchase with you all. I am a happy wolf.
