And so, a week later, allow me to show y'all how I cleverly disguised myself at a Halloween party while getting drunk and watching a marathon of all 3 Resident Evil movies.
I guess it would be more accurate to have called myself "Naked Snake", but as most of my friends didn't know the franchise, I decided to go with the monkier that sounded less like... something dirty. (That, and those who DID recognize what I was wouldn't stop going "Snake? Snake?! SNAAAAAAAAKE!!!")

I feel I should let you know this, because some of the people I showed it to were DEVASTATED at the prospect that I wasn't a blonde anymore. :P

My dignity unwilling to take that slight, I went and looked it up, and free love DID sort of last into the early seventies... but me shoving that vague fact in your face in desperate hopes of maintaining the intellectual high-ground would only serve to make me seem like an anal-retentive asshole.

Aw, I wasn't trying to rub your nose into it or anything. Just that I'm a crusty old c*nt and was born in the 70's, thassall. Not that I watched porn back then, because that would have been creepy and weird.
Fashion is a strange thing - in the 90's we looked back at the 80's with a sense of amusement mixed with horror, but then they looked at the 60's and 70's the same way. Now we look at the 90's... and so on. Although I have to say, the 'noughties' (or whatever they call between 2000 - 2010) doesn't really seem to have much of a fashion theme that I can figure.
As for shoving things in my face... cor blimey guv, that's an interesting thought to have lurking in my thoughts as I stalk off to work in the freezing rain...
