Baalanis always loved a good book: the characters, the plot, the conflict, really anything that went into a good book she loved. In the modern age the goddess was able to descend more often to walk among the mortals to find a good book to read. She's appear in a library, or a book store, or even in a coffee shop, to settle down and read through a good book. More and more she didn't even have to disguise her appearance as conventions for all sorts of different hobbies was making it possible for her to wave off her horns as 'part of a costume.' Baalanis smirked as she looked up from her book, no one even questions how a blind woman could read anymore.
