-Yinglet saliva is specialized to disinfect and cause blood to clot, making it essential for one to have friends to lick you in places your own tongue can't reach. If you're a yinglet, that is. Any other species is advised to not get anywhere near those wiggly little tongues; who knows what's on 'em?
-Feeeena's name actually does have four "e"s. You gotta draw it out to say it properly.

But nawh, joking aside. Great work as always! I am curious to see what turns and twists the story will take from this point on, and how much Kass will adapt to the "yinglet lifestyle" :)

I'm very glad! A big reason that I draw OOPs as comic "strips" like this as opposed to continuous pages that flow together, is that I can make each one entertaining on its own, in addition to telling a larger story.
And actually, I've been working on ways to keep myself more focused, so that I spend more time actually drawing once I've sat down and put on my drawing glove. If nothing else, I really want to get back to a page a week, if not more!

Maaaan, while drawing this, I was constantly wondering how you'd feel about seeing Ves doing stuff in the comic. I imagine that if nothing else, it makes it a lot more interesting! Being the most "normal" of the girls, she's gonna get used a lot to establish the behavior of the "average" female. Such as ear-licking and girl-talking with a bloody mouth.
You just had good timing with commissioning Ves, as well as giving me a little artistic freedom to give her some personality, which turned out to be exactly what I needed to fill this particular role within the enclave's girls; so because of that, you get to enjoy a particular character a lot more than usual! Lucky, lucky.

They're pretty much the most valuable members of yinglet society, so they get all the good stuff!
And the Val Salian yinglet enclave is definitely the most cosmopolitan of the enclaves, being so close to a trade city that buys and sells stuff from all over the world, and full of people wearing lots of fancy and exotic clothing styles. It gives the local yinglets ideas.

Oh, so the majority of the Yinglet population are born from those few females ? Wow, I must say they must have been truly busy considering how many yinglets we've seen so far. I mean they look so young yet it's suggested that they- OH MY ZEUS IS KASS GETTING ALL A FLUTTER FOR BEING TOLD THAT MALE YINGLETS MIGHT LIKE HER ?! ...Him.

Thanks! Glad to know you're enjoying it; we've just about got all the main (and main-ish) characters introduced. Once we've met all the Patriarchs, that'll be just about everyone! Until a certain tribe of assholes migrates into the Val Salian passage for a couple seasons.
She's actually the result of a commission from 
X3D1U5 earlier on! He gave me enough artistic license to create a canonical yinglet female, so when it came time to assemble the girls in the enclave, I realized that Vesaria already fit one of the roles perfectly.
So I could create a different but very similar version of her to use in the comic, but... if I'm going to do that, why not just use Ves?
And because my brain is always tumbling words and phrases together, I kept thinking, "Hey, Valsalia and Vesaria have similar syllables and pronunciations! I gotta make that A Thing." And being yinglets, that's totally the kind of thing they'd latch on to.

The Vesaria in the top right panel cleaning Kass' wound is so adorable looking – I keep staring at that panel. She is like some concerned loving little cuddly pet ... with eyeshadow.
I guess I might find that rendering unusually cute because that angle kind of hides the clam-tooth and often "squiggly" mouth too. Don't get me wrong I LOVE your designs I just find the clam-tooth and "squiggly" mouth shifts my perception of their appearance from the "precious" towards "goofy" – which is absolutely perfect for yinglets hence my appreciation of your design.

Admittedly I probably just don't have yinglet fashion sensibilities, but from where I sit they are all pretty stylin'. Haha; we'll get a better idea of the girls' personalities soon, but in general, Zally is really into all the exotic fashions that the human travelers wear to the city, and is rather girly and flirty, despite being the many-toothed gene-set of yinglet that are known for heightened aggression. She definitely puts a lot of effort into counteracting that.
(And also, being a yinglet, she has just about no fashion sense or sense of self-awareness, so basically she just throws together imitations of the styles she's seen)

Man, Val Salia wouldn't last long in a Titan scenario, what with having no big walls except for the outer calcified linings of the inner mountains.
...Then again, the Attack on Titan civilization didn't have a good relationship with a species of rock-burrowing worms who created large underground societies.
And yes; these are all the females of the Val Salian enclave! Thus their importance, and why they're hidden away and guarded so tightly.
...And why the addition of a 7th female would be a huge boost to the local yinglet population.
...Then again, the Attack on Titan civilization didn't have a good relationship with a species of rock-burrowing worms who created large underground societies.
And yes; these are all the females of the Val Salian enclave! Thus their importance, and why they're hidden away and guarded so tightly.

I'm sure the rich people in charge will be charitable and allow citizens in...oh by "charity" I mean "tax their a***s so hard that they will lose their clothes and possibly an arm and a leg to let them in in the first place"

Still the matriarch could stand to not be such a sneering b**** about the whole thing :I a little compassion would go a long way...unfortunately compassion was a fairly rare thing in the iron ages u3u.

Yikes! In panel five, Kass's eyeballs look unnaturally big like they are about to pop out of their sockets, which could be the case considering a patriarch might actually like him/her!
It looks like those yinglet mentalities are messing with him again. At somepoint I said I would elaborate further on what I thought about that, so I will.
Since Kass transformed into a yinglet, I'm thinking he developed a combination of his brain and a yinglet's with two separate lines of thought. Right now, Kass's line of thought is in control, but sometimes his yinglet half takes over. If this continues, then potentially all semblemance of what was once Kass's line of thought could be dominated by the yinglet brain that resides within his female body. It would be nice if Kass could be himself but also embrace his newfound yinglet tendencies: to be himself but as a yinglet. If he could somehow cooperate with this "other brain," then maybe he'd have some control over it so it doesn't control him. Am I making any sense? Upon hearing this idea, I imagine Kass would be scared to supposedly give in to this yinglet mind. As if this would increase the control it has over him.
I don't know if it would be worth the shot, but I figured it would be better to cope than trying to fight it all the time (assuming he can).
