Try as I might, it was just too damn hard for me to resist doing another set of these.
At first I didn't want to seeing as I already posted 12 of these before, but as there's just so many awesome Pokémon that I've grown so fond of, I decided to throw in one final batch. And hell, as the final batch, I'll just add in 8 instead of 6 and have the total of these refs cap at 20 of my favorite Pokémon.
With that said; Persian.
I never expected myself to like this thing, but strangely after looking at its official artwork, I found it to be surprisingly cool and sleek. It has very little features aside from its forehead-gem and just appears to be a big puma or cat.
And that's the brilliance of it. It can look badass without needing pointy things sticking out of its legs, or 10 tails with swords attached to them (though that would be a great idea for a Mega Evolution). That and that one scene in the anime episode "Clefairy and the Moon Stone" of Meowth inflating with water just... mrawr, it's good stuff. X3

And as much as I agree with you on that, I feel like I have to draw the line here.
These are still meant to showcase my favorite Pokémon and to go even further than the already large amount of 20 would in my opinion devalue that. <=3
...For now. We'll just have to wait and see what a possible Gen 7 brings. ;3

Oooh this looks lovely! really glad to see him in color considering i adored his sketch as well! x3
I'm glad persians are more popular with the wealthy, means they'll most likely get spoiled until they look as cute as this ^w^
And i really like those backstories you add too as Ross said, i assume pickpocketing and scamming won't be so easy anymore with limited mobility x3

It's more of a limit that I set for myself. These references are first and foremost meant to showcase my favorite Pokémon and give them a bit of personality. =3
If I were to make over 50, it would greatly devalue that, and make my choices less, well, personal. Plus it might be quite overwhelming for the people here. ^.-.^;
