This is a little continuation of my reflection on my little art challenge. They're currently in the scraps if you want to take a look. :3
P. A piranha! I decided to have a little fun with this drawing. :P Back in the actual art challenge, I decided to draw with a pencil for now on.
Q. A quetzal! I think I could have did the pencil drawing better in retrospect if I didn’t make a little comic out of it. I think I prefer my marker drawing here. :3
R. Rats! I admit I’m a fan of Ratatouille so this is somewhat of a homage for Remy. :3 And also it was around this point that I ditched the whole comic thing for the art challenge and just, draw.
S. Sharks! The great predators of the sea that stayed on this earth for a really long time! And they’re not as aggressive towards humans as most people think. :D
T. A sea turtle! I was a bit inspired from my marine biology class. :D
U. Unicorn! Around this point, a friend told me I was using student colored pencils and not the professional grade that helps with blending colors. And here my color selection with Sharpies is quite limited. Whoops! :P
V. The velociraptor is for RaeThalis! He did suggest earlier about doing dinosaurs for some of the letters, and I went with velociraptors! The feathery ones, that is. :3
W. Well… I guess the face, eyes, and muzzle of the wolf could have been drawn better in my pencil drawinig of it, but honestly I think I really like how I drew the fur on the wolf.
X. I did an x-ray tetra, and it was actually tricky since I still wasn’t used to shading, nor did I have the right colored pencils. But the fish doesn’t seem to mind. :3
Y. A yellow jacket! Somehow I kind of like them, even though they gave me two painful stings! Hopefully everyone will know this wasp is friendly and won’t sting at all. :3
Z. Zorro! The Spanish word for fox! And I added the zorro mask for good measure! And he lends me a new scarf as a gift. :3
I also took this moment to experiment a bit with my snake sona's coloring. I probably might give that light blue scarf a try. :3
