Two terrorclaw parents are left pondering why one of their hatchlings came out mostly black, when none of their pack has ever been born like that. Dark skinned or not, the hatcling has already imprinted on his father, and is very much hungry. He will, nevertheless, be raised and loved like any other hatchling of the pack.

Yes, you can guess who the hatchling is. As for who the sleepy one is, that is Starhunter (who will later be known as Rapthor), the older of the two hatchlings. He was born two hours before Darkthunder did.

For those who may not have figured it out by now, Darkthunder's skin is a mutation. And he did not have feathers when he was born; those started showing years later, as he neared adulthood.
