It's strange how many post-apoc environments there are out there, and yet Fallout is the one that is most synonymous in peoples' minds with a post-nuclear world, isn't it? I personally think it's because it's actually not a post-apocalyptic version of OUR world exactly, but a divergent one in which things went differently, mixed with a certain special, unique flavor that Fallout has had throughout the series.
Anyway: This is a gorgeous scene, and the detail, as ever, is fantastic, phenomenal, and worthy of envy. :D

"supposedly" Actually, that's pretty much the basis for the story. Instead of focusing on micro-processing, the Fallout version of global society focused on micro-fission. Hence why computers seemed so primitive even by 2077 yet exoskeletal armor systems powered by mini-fission/fusion plants were feasible at the time with minimal difficulties outside of political sales pitches.
