
Answer: Pretty fluffy. Graveraptors grow more fluff as they age, and Red is no exemption. Most of them will keep themselves trimmed down a bit, but seeing as how Red lives in a pretty cold climate with Al, it's smarter to keep all that extra fluff.
Assuming he's a year older than me, that puts him up to 23. That's quite a bit past mature for a grave raptor, but still remarkably young by their eyes. Most of them live to be about 150 years old... although some say they can live forever if they devour enough souls to keep themselves going...

Grave Raptors are so named because they typically reside around graveyards, crypts, and even battlefields. They can manipulate and consume souls of the living and passed away, although they typically try to keep away from civilization. The owlkin in Al's world see them as pests, and their consumption of the souls of the dead is typically seen as "fairly rude".
That being said, Red himself isn't like most grave raptors, and doesn't use his abilities on people that are alive, usually.
