So remember when I posted my Rampardos' ref pic way back and said: "Dinosaurs are by far my favorite animals. And on a side-note, I love the new Fossil Pokémon from Gen 6, though Tyrantrum sorta looks like it has a beard... Huh. XD"
Yeah, I simply couldn't ignore this guy. Tyrantrum.
His design is just awesome. The beard is still a bit odd to me, but I've gotten used to it. What I like especially about Tyrantrum is its colorscheme. The primary red color, mixed with hints of orange smears. It gives it a kind of rusty look, which I find very fitting as it is based on a dinosaur, probably an elder one given the beard.
Okay, it's not that clear in this picture, but if you've seen the official artwork, you'll know what I mean.
I also liked the idea of taking this iconic badass of a dinosaur, and turning him into an overemotional dork-a-doofus. X3 So in a sense you would kinda get the best of both worlds; a badass and intimidating exterior and an adorable and, for lack of a better term, soft interior.

I always love those Poké-team refs you make. 83 You make them all so unique in personality and all of them so fat. *winks* I do hope that a few legendaries will be in your Poké-Team someday and pretty BIG ones too. >;3 <3<3
