He may be very intimidating, gorillas usually are. They look menacing, they have some weird faces and don't speak too much cause people make fun of their accent. Dax is, well, pretty much all that, but he's not really how he looks like: outside of his work as a bouncer/security guard, he's easygoing, still doesn't talk very much but he doesn't back away from a conversation. And he got some nice friends, which is rare for a gorilla to be part of a pack of different species.
