Back when I found furry, I was trying to come up with a name that represents me.
I was throwing ideas around with the furst furry friend I made online, when I noticed an Aerovox capacitor sitting on my bench. I thought... "Just change the 'v' to an 'f'!"
He liked it, I liked it and it stuck!

Looks cool. Unregulated tho. So good for starting fires. Good work tho.
Its allways fun to add a powerfull FET in that circuit, driven by a opto cuple. And make a plasma speeker :P
I did this at uni with a TV flyback transformer. It worked reasonably well.
