He's ready for the hunt.
This is a picture I drew for the Eurofurence Artshow August 19 - 23 in Berlin. It will be available as a unique framed print.
When I started out, I just wanted to do a picture that was influenced by the Predator films franchise, however more and more influences quickly became part of the drawing process. For instance, the marking on his chest is a nod to the Skaarj, an alien race from the Unreal games, who in turn are inspired by the Predator series. I had tons of fun working on this, even though the armor was a pain in the ass, but I'm really happy with the final picture.
So yeah, if you happen to be attending this years Eurofurence, I hope you get a chance to see this and more of my works in the artshow. Enjoy!

The sheer amount detail defo is stunning. Same goes for the anatomy & armour. He looks the part. Physically imposing & intimidating. A highly skilled, powerful warrior etc. But what i like the most is the atmosphere + alive energy you imbued into the pic and the sense of presence he has about him. You just know he means business . The body language is so well realised which adds alot to the characterr. Sublime piece DAN :) .

not too bad at all.. an excellent pic.. marvelous colors and the phasing out / fade at the bottom looks quite impressive..
the only things you forgot that ( now this is just my opinion darling..) are the mask that could have been in his other hand.. and the shoulder mounted parrot energy gun...
basically "complete the look"... but again, that's just me *winks*
