[Commission] Everyone's a Critic
He had started from the bottom, a simple stall on the roadside in a quiet town. He had worked his way up. He had served his sushi to kings, to celebrities, even to the gods themselves (albeit in disguise; but some were not as good at hiding their identities as they would like.)
And on the same day of every month, to this dragon, this 'Osyris'. From his humblest beginnings, never had this man ranked his sushi, sushi so sought after that reservations at his restaurant were now placed months in advance, anything above 'average'.
At first, he'd taken it as a compliment. Then as a challenge. But now... now it was an insult. He had risen so far, over so long, and it was still just 'average'!? He had had enough. No sooner had the 'ah' sound left his mouth than his last nerve snapped and he lashed out. Damn the consequences. This bastard would be eating sushi made from his own tail by the end of the night!
starlightwyvern commissioned this piece too, of poor old Osyris fighting off an enraged Sushi chef. Another request I couldn't say no to. :D
