Audrey is kind of a nymphomaniac (being retired from being an exotic dancer and porn star) so he can't really stay a monogamist, no matter how hard he tries (in some situations they tried it and he always cheats) and since Picard isn't a fan of that it would bother him more being married than just boyfriends. On top of that Audrey is also not into titles and is terrified of commitment. Picard is a little scared of it too. So they fit better being life partners because if they got married they'd surely get a divorce at some point anyway. So they just save themselves the trouble. xD

But they will stay "boyfriends" forever. So they will be happy in their own weird way xD

Oh, I sees! Well, that works as long as their happy and the situation is working for them, that's good. xD

They both seem to have personalities that are at war and yet compliment each other. :P

Haha, not really, unfortunately! At best they are a very over-dramatized version of certain aspects of us, like how I have a tendency to get really fussy at random things and have streaks of being "mean" (in the silly, teasing manner) and she puts up with them much like how Picard is very mean, teasing, and fussy all the time and Audi just puts up with it and makes fun of him xD I'm also basically as thin and bony as Picard and she could beat me up if she really wanted to but obviously doesn't. Cause we love each other too much ;D

That whole thing is incredibly cute. xD That's most certainly an interesting way to design characters and easy to bring forth scenarios that are too outrageous for both of you to do IRL. But just perfect for the characters to reenact through art. xD

Ooh oh gosh well! I got into drawing furries back in 6th grade (which waaaas uggggh 2004? 2003 maybe?) and was inspired by artists  xianjaguar and  huskie666 amongst others. I got really into the art and never let go since! I never got "into" the furry community, though, aside from some furry friends I had on dA. I went into a deep period of "furry denial" for many years because I learned about the bad stigmas and wanted no part of it (and had a phobia of fursuits). I was "Anthro not Furry!! Baaaww!" I gradually got over that, though, and even though I still am hesitant to slap on the furry label, I just wanted to be a part of the community so bad I stopped caring. Now I'm here! :D I'm still not big on the fetishes and porn that furries are into, but you'll find that stuff in all fandoms regardless haha The Invader Zim fandom I was in was the worst at making everything sexual.

As for Shep, she just said she's always kinda been into it xD her dad  mapper is a furry so that probably doesn't help haha She went through an opposite phase as me where instead of being in "furry denial" she was "furry defensive" in the "Yeah I'm furry!! What of it?? >:v" phase Pfff

We met each other through a mutual friend and bonded over making ridiculous collaborated characters. Literally we came together over our characters having a crackbaby. That says all you need to know about us 8D

Well, I guess I would consider them more like characters than sonas to my own view, but I understand that they can be both. xD

Wow. That's really awesome! I feel like such a noob when it comes to everyone! xD I've only been a furry since 2013 and that's mostly because of a close friend along with SL. xD At first I didn't think I'd fit in because of the same reasons you have. I will say, that a another friend helped me realize that my reason for being a furry isn't defined by others. c: So... yeah. xD

I'm relatively in the zone when it comes to certain "pop-u-furs" in the community, but definitely not all of them at all cause there are so many. The fursuiting side I'm extremely newbish on. I know a bit more than some, like certain popular suiters and makers, but not past that. Same with all the little niches within the fandom.

I'm just glad that there is still room in the fandom for folks who aren't into the NSFW side. Granted I do like some suggestive things (like pinups) but mostly the NSFW stuff I'm into is for jokes and played for laughs and not as an actual fetish. Honestly, NSFW does not bother me at all because I have been around it since I was young and it has desensitized me. I just don't find it typically appealing, think it tends to be overrated, and have no interest in drawing it. I just wish the commissioning aspect was more open to SFW artists like me. It seems the only SFW artists who make a lot of profit have either been in the community forever or have an exceptionally distinctive style (like Falvie, but she has stated she might be interested in starting NSFW materials in the future). Alaaas. Just have to work hard and get there when I can. c:

I'm always thinking about up and leaving this community to just be a furry, but have little interaction. xD I think I run into too many... less than desirable folks. s: But I've made a lot of what I hope are liftetime friends and memories that have changed the way I see things. I peter back and forth between throwing my hands up in rage to disappear forever... and taking a break for a few days to let myself calm down mostly. xD

Always feeling like an insanely old person about. Mostly because I notice a large portion of the community is compromised of younger furs. Teens too and not only by age. >w<

I'm not really one to look at NSFW beyond funny stuff or silly stuff. I may look at it if it has some of emotional or romantic aspect of it. Something tasteful like [url=]this[/url], but others, not into it. And I guess, I've seen enough porn at this age to be... really tired of it. I want to see something new. There's so many different things in the world and no one ever seems to drawing any of it. LOL

I think your style is distinctive. xD You and Sheps. :D I really need to get on that comic of yours and sit down and read it whenever I'm NOT being lazy. xD

I can understand what you mean! Furries are definitely hit or miss with me, I think.

In general, at least from what all I have seen over the years, furries have like no variety in their styles (literally it seems every furry has the exact same art style. It's exactly like fursuits which look exactly the same) which bores me, but the art is generally amazingly high quality compared to a lot of folks on deviantART. Most furries are typically amazingly friendly and I feel like I can hold conversations with almost anyone, but sometimes they are almost too friendly to the point their optimism is kind of off-putting. Like, I do not understand why furries are willing to pay an artist buckets of money only to remain in their queue for years and they are just... okay with that? Like, they could pay artists with the same or slightly lesser quality who can provide artwork in far less time. They are too obsessed with "popufurs" and their porn and are perfectly giddy and content with it and it baffles me.

Finding art and topics that interest me is extremely difficult, too, because furries are just so samey it hurts. Like, there is no originality anywhere which is a bummer to me? All the comics are just generic porn after generic porn (granted, I follow many like this but I digress), all the fursonas are just the same recolored huskies/foxes/woofs/etc. and nobody really cares unless your style is realism or that same generic "furry style". So it gets really tiring to me.

However, when I do find those gems who encompass originality, are friendly, and have nice quality to their work, it makes it entirely worth it to be in the community. I have met friends here who are so nice and so wonderful that I don't regret joining the fandom at all. But I think because the negatives are so incredibly heavy I tend to lean more to my deviantART crowd than here. I have several furry friends there as well, but the majority aren't and they provide more interesting stuff. I guess my personality just isn't quite in check with the typical furs of today :c

Haha I hope when you do read it you enjoy it! I need to stop being lazy myself and get the new prologue up cause the old one is so inaccurate it hurts xD
