Ok, I am sure you guys know I love Halo. Not just the games (which are pretty damned fun) but the whole universe they built behind it, especially the SPARTANS.

Like most rabid fanboys (lol) i decided to write a fanstory.

Now, this is the beginning scrap to it. I will also post the outline of the story as i am building on it (the skeleton, as you would call it) in a separate submission.

What I am trying to acheive is a balanced fansub. While the main character has my Fursona's first name, it is not him (my fursona is Ivan Rudakov, and Ivan Zobel is the name of the main character) nor is there supposed to be any illusion of it.

he is not supposed to be some Uber-SPARTAN. Just trying to do a "what if" for the universe, in this case "what if someone found a way to augment the SPARTANs differently for those that failed the original augmentation?"

Also showing the dark side of the UNSC (not as a whole, but lets face it, if you have read the books, Ackerson is definitely a bad person).

So here is the ROUGH first part, before he is augmented, along with the errata explaining what is going to happen, before i changed the original plot to make it a bit darker.
