Background:
Navi's mother and father were normal earth ponies. However the day Navi was born things were a bit different. Navi's parents were on a walk through the everfree forest. It began to rain and so they looked for shelther. They found shelther within a cave. Little did they know that the cave was that of a dragon. This dragon had been hidden for years and it stayed in its cave. The dragon had the ability to save others life and restore youth. Most would know this dragon as the fountain of youth. The dragon watched the couple as the bore their child within his cave. However when the child was born she was sickly, and sadly was on the verge of death. That is when the dragon came forth to the couple it spoke to them. He gave them two choices to let the child die or to give him the child so he could save her life. However if he saved the child she would not live a normal life as all others. The parents wanted their child to live and they were willing to make sure they found some way where she could be accepted as who she was. The dragon took the child and using some of his blood he was able to save the child. She grew happily with her parents. At first she looked like every other filly or colt. However she mutated and her tail changed to that of a dragon and her skin became hard like that of dragon scales. The other colts found her odd and she began to become an outcast. However she founds a love in bells. Each day while she was alone she would practice playing bells until one day in her mid teen like years she got her cutiemark. Soon after her parents finally got her to come out of her room and play in a local talent show. The judges and audiance found her odd and many began to leave, but when the lights dimmed and Navi began to play she left the audiance and the judges silent. Navi won the first place award and the respect of those who heard her play. When she grew up she became a wedding bell ringer. So she now rings bells for weddings.
