After nearly 3 weeks without any new art due to fasting during Ramadan which severely robbed my willpower to draw any new art during this time, I finally managed to force myself to draw anything... anything at all. @_@ Hence, this pic, because this year's Ramadan is pretty boring for me. =_=

You aren't the only person who has been bored during religious holidays.
My family at times does EVERYTHING to do with various Christian traditions, making what could be a single day of entertainment like Easter, or 2 days if you include church, into a 3 week long marathon of going to church multiple times a week, and practicing religious practices every day for the entire time... thankfully no-one keeps the fasting amongst it too strict...
If anything, things like religious holidays should have things being optional, and specific things being skippable (should family and business events be threatened).
Mind you, I have nothing against my family practicing Christian traditions... or me joining them... I'm just not devoted as they... nor of the same religion...

I see. O_o I'm not as religiously devoted as much, either. x_x Every day, I pray just the five daily required unskippable prayers every Muslim must do, only practicing the most basic faiths in Islam. However, my parents have been trying to get me into praying those optional prayers as well, even wanting me to read the Quran more often. You can't blame them; my parents are ridiculously religious, as are the majority of Muslims in Malaysia.
Ramadan is technically not a holiday at all. People still go to work, children still go to school as normal, etc.. There is no rest. The only change is that we can't eat or drink during the day until the very moment the sun has completely set, which makes things more complicated because even doing simple activities tend to make you burn more energy, and the more energy you burn, the hungrier you get.
There's even a possibility that my parents might even want to fast for six additional days after Ramadan is over. These are only optional. And yes, they would encourage me to do the same... @_@;;
Well, I can't say the case with your religion, because I'm not a Christian, and I only have indirect knowledge of Christianity via my online friends. But I guess we both understand what it's like to be in a religious family when you yourself is not as religious as they are.
