However...you will also have to help some of these Pokemon. In this strange world, 'Mystery Dungeons' have been appearing across the land... What is a Mystery Dungeon?Glad you asked!A Mystery Dungeon are mysterious areas that have been converted into ever-changing mazes by some unknown power. Each time you enter a Mystery Dungeon, the layout changes. Most Pokemon that live in these areas became hostile when their homes were changed into Mystery Dungeons. In light of these events, Pokemon began to form Rescue Teams and Exploration Teams to help Pokemon and explore these Dungeons to better understand them. You will assist on one of those teams. But be warned... Recently...the Pokemon of this world have begun engaging in certain...acts... Devouring each other whole, not always with their mouths. I do hope you don't fall prey to someone. We may meet some day. Who am I?You'll know...when the time comes. But before you depart for this world... I have an assortment of Pokemon for you... Tell me... What would you like to be? (NOTE:Please note that due to one half of the nature, it's most likely that the Pokemon you pick here will not be permanent. As I'm sure you'll notice, this list includes every possible Starter from EVERY Mystery Dungeon game ever INCLUDING the only released in Japan games, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Blazing Adventure Squad, Light Adventure Squad, and Stormy Adventure Squad. As for the letters in parenthesis next to each Pokemon, it just shows which game(s) they were first available as Starters in, with RRT and BRT meaning Red and Blue Rescue Team, EOT, EOD, and EOS being Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, and so on. Please note as well that Blazing, Stormy, and Light Adventure Squads had their own SEPAPRATE lists of starters from each other, based on coloration of the Pokemon. Ex.Stormy had only blue Pokemon while Light had yellow or something close to yellow. That's why you'll only see one adventure squad next to some of the starters rather than all 3, like the other PMD games.)
