"NEVER FORGET YOUR FLAME"
Friends have told me over the years that they always felt this... thing within me. They call it power, or fire, whatever. It kinda makes me feel special when they say it, and it drives me forward with a smile on my face. And in my darkest times I remember those words and the feeling of someone seeing below the surface. And that fire lights my way, and keeps me warm.
As for the design here, I figure those are hardpoints to attach cargo, jetpacks, pretty much any other reasonable utility. The cords underneath are mostly for decoration, but they can be used to interface with stuff. And the fire nozzles are mostly for tertiary cooling (He usually relies on respiration and that cooling fan in the middle of his back, he runs way hotter than he should be, quirk of his design), but sometimes Strype gets really excited and he starts spewing flame all over the place. Good thing he's fireproof, at least

It's just, as soon as I read that, I had this image of his tiger face going but with a full toothy grin and hearing a whistle of the fire jets on his back, and some off-screen character going "Ah, ah, AAAH!! YESS!!!"
...yeah. possibly been on the internet too long.
The design is cool-looking, and it's always amazing to see traditional art from you. I have one question though: I have the mindset of seeing art and thinking "how would this look if animated?" ...and YEESH it looks like it'd take a lot of time to animate something like that. Actually, your characters are so detailed that I feel like animating them would have the downside of: having a million things to animate, but upside: having a million yardsticks to use to keep the character uniform onscreen. Not a bad tradeoff.

The design is cool-looking, and it's always amazing to see traditional art from you. Actually, your characters are so detailed that I feel like animating them would have the downside of: having a million things to animate, but upside: having a million yardsticks to use to keep the character uniform onscreen. Honestly, I know you said about keeping this in scraps and all (and given what it's linked to, that much I can understand) but your work is beautiful. Given the story stuff you've hinted and inadvertently teased at with your personal work, it'd be great to see more of...well, YOU. More of your stories, your characters, world and setting, rather than just boobs, butts and dicks for the swarming masses. I mean, you draw them fantastic too, don't get me wrong! But there's clearly some damn cool stories in that noggin, trying to get out onto the page.
