[Photo] BNSF and CSX share the load
I was excited to see these two BNSF locomotives moving along the CSX main lines on the bank of the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh. BNSF 5360 and 1104, both Dash9-44CW's, lead CSX 2631, a GP38-2, hauling a mixed freight load.

Yeah. When I got to my spot, a CSX intermodal had just passed so I missed that one, but I saw this train at rest about 1000 yards beyond the bridge in the background. I was peering at it when it suddenly switched on it's lights and began to slowly build up speed.
I realized the paint scheme wasn't right and using the zoom on the camera I confirmed it was a pair of BNSF Dash 9's. From there on out, I was determined to not waste this unique opportunity to snap off a few good pictures. I wished I had stayed on the bridge for this chance, but I wanted a change of perspective. I think I still did pretty well with it.

Awww Dash 9s are totally awesome! They used to run Norfolk Southern Dash 8s by my home when I lived in NJ. I don't get to see that many interesting railroad action where I live in PA. Nice pictures there ^^ I don't think I've ever seen the BNSF in person, sucks I never caught any while at AC.
