This was a fun one. One hour speedpaint on the background. Spent about 4 hours in total on the character himself. This piece taught me a lot about musculature and posing. I don't think his expression was aggressive enough truth be told, but at the end of the day I'm happy with the character overall since one of the hardest parts for me to get right is the shape of the head and face.

My next personal piece may be what's on the other side of the conflict here. Who knows.
