GGGUUYYSSS REPORTING FROM SAVANNAH.
We got here the other night, but it was pretty hectic getting everybody's stuff inside and put away, then the grocery shopping and jazz. There was a huge thunderstorm going on when we first got in town, but today it was sunny and breezy, up until nightfall at least. Then another storm rolled in and I watched the lightning flash through the cottage windows while I tuned into shark week.
Hella peaceful, I'll say.
BUT SOMETHING FUCKING CRAZY HAPPENED EARLIER, we were walking around downtown, just wandering wherever we wanted. And while we were walking through Monterey Square and I was snapping some pictures of Mercer House, we see Adam Sandler go by in one of the 'bike taxis' you see downtown.
ADAM FREAKING SANDLER.
His taxi rolled around and stopped on the same square, and when he got out Evan just pointed at him and said 'you're awesome'. Sandler laughed and told us thank you before waving and walking up the Congregation Mickve Israel Synagogue stairs to take a picture with his family.
We didn't want to be super obvious or ruin his day by accidentally causing other people to notice him and swarm him, so we quietly walked off to Forsyth Park and sat down to giggle our asses off about what just happened.
Like a bunch of adults.
Because

Yes.
But other than that, it's been a pretty standard Savannah trip. (Which means it's fucking amazing and feels like home and perfection but that's beside the point)
I caved in and drew some more 'autumn-ish' art. I've actually been doodling a LOT of Halloween art, but since those are just a scrappy pen sketch series, I'm only posting them on twitter.

IT'S SO ADORABLE. BLACK AND WHITE STRIPES, CARAMEL, APPLES, WHITE MARBLE?! I don't even like caramel, but what I love even more than red lipstick- is taupe/peach/caramel colored lipstick. To where it almost looks like my natural lips but with more of a fleshy tan shade. And I have a lipgloss called 'caramel apple' so I just sorta jumped for this.
I would have added the peanuts, but I'm probably going to end up re-doing this idea some time in the future. This is just a ridiculous soft whatever kinda thing to get it out of my system for at least a day.
But I'm still going to be reblogging the shit outta some fall-related stuff on tumblr. CAN'T STOP THIS TRAIN.
