Yeah, quite a while ago there was this meme where a bunch of FA artists would take a picture of their real selves, and draw their fursona over it. I'm a bit too private to have wanted to send in a pic of my "human-sona," so I tried to find an existing pic close to my actual physique. That was difficult; people don't often draw characters that are slightly fat (either they're slim or they go all out lol). But closest I could find was this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16966121/ . I'm not quite that fat IRL, but it was close... so asked Conner to use that as a reference and shave off a few pounds. Result was still a bit bigger than the real me, but not complaining because I loved how it came out. I'd say the pic is like 90% "honest" as to my actual physique.

there are always meme's an stuff about that sorta thing. i can understand why u wouldn't want to send a human pic to an artist. as for the snoozy pic you linked he is definitely more ball gutted, somewhat beefier arms and meatier thighs. but in either case he got it close to you and u like it a lot. and having a belly is always a good thing. and the pic looks good and u probably do as well. :)

If anything the pic's actually approximately correct as to my body mass, just that the distribution is a bit more bottom/belly heavy than the real me. But well, the different body shape may change my distribution anyway, and I kind of like the ball/potbelly look. (Legs are pretty much right; I have quite thick legs with both more muscle and fat than what's the average for my height and weight.) As the saying goes, close enough for government work lol. I intend to use this as a further reference for my chubby anthro form (as opposed to my "default" form which is like 90% troodon) for pics that require a more anthro shape to do certain things.
