Physical features: Skull head wendigos are a two leg standing creature, their bodies have an internal temperature below 20 C° or 68 f°. This very low temperature makes them unable to stand warm weathers and they nest on really cold places and enjoy rough winters that last long, specially in this very cold winters Skull head wendigos aument on population.
There are indeed Male and female wendigos but they lack of any sexual organs since their way of reproducing is quite different to the other animals
The skulls that cover their face are masks that start to grow when the wendigo is in a very early age, this mask are a massive bone growth and once is fully formed it separates of the face and becomes a mask that protects their faces when they hunt. They can take off their bone masks and the shape of it doesn't have to be the same of the internal skull of the wendigo
Inside of their body they have a paracity tree that is born with the wendigo, this tree stays normally inside of the wendigo just sprouting out as "antlers" and in some other random parts of the body, if a limb is lost the tree will replace it until it can get regenerated
Society: Their society is not very advanced getting the just to a trivial stage were the leader wendigo or Alpha manages a small group of them, up to 20. The more complex the painting on their daces and skull masks the more important the wendigo is, as well that they do no tend to dress up since hunters find clothes annoying while hunting, it is only the Alphas, the healers and the babies who are dressed up
Mental features: this creatures may not be very advanced in society but they have an average intelligence of a young human, they are able to learn, to invent and make complex hunting strategics, as well as some rustic buildings and learn basic medicine. Some wendigos that are sold as pets in mayor cities are even able to learn the idioma of their owner and express themselves clearly.
As much as their knowledge is very high for any animal they do not posses a huge rank of emotional connections and have lots of problems with being emphatic with any other species that is not theirs, making them quite savage as they do not feel pity for other species.

-they can be any nature based color, from dark browns, whites, blacks, grays and in some weird cases greens
-The markings on their skulls are deep red since it's blood
-no bone based horns they can only be made out of branches of their paracitic tree
-hooves, paws, talons and bug feets are ok
-they must have a short muscular muzzle
