At the LARP Vortex Adventures in The Netherlands, I play in a group of Cannibals with a whole personalized world. I offered to take care of the Faune of this world.
This is one of the creatures I created.
Galinja:
(One Galinja,
Two Galinja,
A Galinja nest)
A Galinja is a chicken-like creature which walks on 2 arms covered in feathers. The feet are hooved.
Everything but these arms and their large, feather covered tail shows their naked skin.
Every Galinja has a large horn on its head. They have 2-coloured feathers sticking from behind the horn, which are extremely rare.
The horn on a Galinja's head is wildly popular because of their flammability. When Galinja is eaten, their head horns are collected and made into practical fire-stones.
The feathers attached to the horn are rare, because Galinja scrape their horns on a hard surface to attract Galinja from the other sex. During this process these feathers burn to ashes 85% of the time.
Attached to the bottom jaw of the beak there are two smaller horns, which have the purpose of punctuating their pray.
Both male and female Galinja can feed their cubs with the 6 nipples on their belly.
The feathers on a Galinja's rear and arms indicate where they are from. Green for forest area, brown/grey for mountain area, beige for deserts, etc.
A Galinja's eye does not blink. Instead of blinking they have a cleaning filter over their eye which changes itself about every three hours. The long eyelashes are to keep dirt and tiny animals from creeping into their eyes.
A Galinja's beak counts a total of 24 sharp teeth, as they eat mostly smaller animals or human remains.
They're average height is 75cm.
