I sketched this at work originally, very loosely. After a couple days I took it back out to work on and went, 'Hey, you know what... I could make a species out of these guys.'
Fast forward the clock a couple of days and here we are now, with the Faeliyon. Since they hatch from crystals and not eggs, instead of including the egg in this adopt I created a crystal for her (and still used the markings and traits from the egg for her design). I felt it was only fitting, as it was this 'egg' that spurred the creation of the entire species.
Anyway, what was originally an egg adopt for Kaltastrophe has now become the first official Faeliyon, named Eila! She was raised in the sanctuary and has no birth defects, was handled with care as she incubated/grew into adulthood. She is extremely curious, maybe even a bit naive.

You know I thought about that, I think eventually I'll design them a feral form and I can say for sure that they do have one (as I thought about that too) I just haven't come up with a good reason for them to be able to change from one to the other yet XD

Ooohhh, I could see that... Most of them have a feral form to start, but because of their will to be independent and not subordinate creatures, they rapidly evolved to grow into an anthropomorphic structure. Maybe some of the more 'chill' Faeliyon still retain the ability to shift at will between the two forms somewhat, but the ones who are very independent and won't be ruled around lose it completely.
Not sure how I would explain that on a semi-anatomical/scientific front but that could be a thing! I like that when they're young they start out feral.

Thanks! I am personally not a huge fan of her colors actually so I was a little worried no one would like her ; ; I prefer my blues/greens to be a little more on the yellow side and her base color is kind of minty. It's really validating to know that people like her though x3 makes me feel better.
