Oh come now xD
That's like complaining that no one is eating the hamburgers you brought to the International House of Pancakes. If you wanted to be critically acclaimed for your art, FA probably shouldn't be the place to be xD
TL;dr: People come here to fap, not sip sophisticated wine while analyzing brush stroke techniques

I don't think it's quite that simple... you'd be surprised how much the folks around here appreciate well drawn art. They definitely like their smut, to be sure, but there's a real appreciation for smut with proper brush stroke technique. :P Besides, clean art that is exceptionally well drawn can get tons of attention too! It might take a bit longer, porn is sort of an 'easy way in', but clean art is hardly ignored.
This whole site is a sort of clash of the art and smut worlds, and that's kind of why I love it!

No, yeah I hear you. Clean art certainly does have an appeal to some folks here, but my point was that one's pornographic art will have substantially more views than one's clean art, because, let us not forget that this is a website dedicated to furry fetishism and attraction thereto. Time and time again, artists and folks like Jazzpaintball here have lambasted smut for getting twice the views than on their clean art as if that's a bad thing, meanwhile we're on a smut site, dedicated to smutty art! That's kinda the point of the site!
But regardless I really really really love this piece by you as I commented below. This would look amazing in a frame on anyone's wall.

It's kind of tough thing trying to define all this. I've written this post over 3 times now. Being a 'furry' and 'smut' kinda goes hand in hand, because being attracted to furries is a fetish... It's different than being a brony for example, you can watch the series, love the series, label yourself and be associated with other bronies, but not have any sexual attraction to any of the ponies, because that would make you a furry, or it falls under the furry fetishism category. I mean, IMO it's a venn diagram where 'Furry' is a circle completely surrounded by a 'Fetish' circle, which sits squarely in the middle of the 'smut' circle. Can you watch porn without being a Furry? Yes. Can you have any fetishes without being a Furry? Yes. Can you enjoy the fantasy fucking of anthropomorphic animals or other fantastic creatures without being a Furry? No.
You do however get people that fall into the furry fandom, and not the furry fetish... Personally I think it's not so much that people consider their furriness a fetish, since there are plenty of people with a foot in both camps, but rather a lack of separation between the SFW and NSFW stuff. There's 18+ content in every fandom and in that respect furry is no different; the difference in my opinion lies in the fact that the general audience material and the porn is more intermingled when it comes to furries. For instance, all of the larger furry art sites (FA, SoFurry, Inkbunny, and Weasyl) allow both tame and adult content in their galleries. I have found this not to be the case in other fandoms, where sites tend to be devoted solely to either SFW or NSFW material like Otaku vs Hentai Foundry. The only gallery I can think of for furry that does not serve pornographic content is DeviantArt, which I attribute to it being a site for general fandom/geekdom and art as a whole, rather than specifically for furry fandom. To me it seems that the problem isn't people treating furry as a fetish, but rather a lack of distancing between the two sides of the fandom.
Either way, you can use FA for clean art but simply enabling that 'SFW' box at the top next to your Log Out button and never see smut again... Oh god, sorry for the long post too!
