Alrighty, I bought this guy's design recently and just hamg, had to draw him <333
He's what is called a Mofu Drakes; they're a tiny moth-like dragon, that are roughly the size of a pear. And he's adorable.
So, about Jack's character...
Jackknife was the lover to one of my cupids; Lovefool (or just Love), however, on their wedding night, he couldn't wait to see his beloved bride,a dn broke tradition. This, Love believes, to be the cause of the following events, and why she is very strict on the 'no seeing the bride before the wedding' superstition. After their quick meeting, he found himself coming across some of Love's miss-placed arrows, and with an accidental prick to his finger, found himself trapped in a love curse with the first person he saw next; who so happened to be a former cupid, now succubus, and current long-time rival of Love, A succubus named Adore. From there on out, he was cursed to 'love her until he dies', which was fine by Adore, it just meant more peril and turmoil for Love.
After a few forced years of staying with Love, but not truly loving her anymore, they finally broke off, or well, he gave her a reason not to come back to him; leaving both her and Adore to try and save his own heart from it's curse. Fleeing from both women, he went on a personal journey to try and find the cure to his heart's ailment, and after searching for so long, found out that the only was to cure his heart, was to die.
Not willing to take such a chance just yet, he continues traveling and searching... perhaps looking for a reason to take that risk. Someone worth dying for.
His character is still under development, and I'm working in his mofu drakeness, because hamg, adorable tiny (compared to Love's large feonix size) and possibly looking to roleplay him, or might just re-work his story back into Love's and going from there. In any case, this is Jackknife~
