I really like the way you colored her face. The stitched-up rip in her cloak and taters at the bottom of her skirt are interesting details that tells me she has fought battles in this clothing on previous occasions.
It is pretty common for artists to be unhappy with the scans of their traditional artwork. My latest pencil sketch took me about two hours of fiddling with scanner settings and then working with levels and contrast settings in Serif PhotoPlus to get something that resembled the actual piece.
