I walk everywhere. Every day I'll getup and walk somewhere, even if just to get some groceries, or walk to friend's places. I walk it off when I feel hurt, which... actually made the big argument worse.
I've had a mixed relationship with my legs. Nowadays they're great, but growing up, I had really weak ankles due to repeated twists and tears from doing sports things that Dad insisted I be into. It's actually what opened the door to the cyborg thing, cutting them off my 'sona because I didn't like them. Over the years I just had the enhancements slowly travel up the legs, hidden under fur, all the time feeling more and more happy with my actual legs, and getting more and more walking in.
I intend on putting some plating and whatnot over the lower leg when I get around to the big new ref sheet, but leg anatomy has always fascinated me (even though I still check references when doing musculature like this, because the information doesn't seem to stick in my brain for some reason). I also decided the dual-mode digi-/planti- feet would be pretty boss to have. Planti while passive, doing low-intensity stuff like walking, but going Digi when the situation calls for speed.

my god....your detail and skill with biomechanical anatomy is astonishing. Seeing it in actual furry pictures doesn't do it quite the right justice as compared to being displayed on it's own. Everything is where and how it should be, right down to the intricate parts that ensure maximum anatomical movement and accuracy of such. I feel these should eventually be the blueprints for actual fluid, anatomically correct biomechanics.
Also, now that i've actually read the description with it instead of pouring over how amazing of an artist you are. I understand where you're coming from. The inspiration for my own enhanced and upgraded sonas over the many years i've been a furry have come from how stressed and subsequently easily breakable the human body really is. I have far too many injuries and physical and mental faults to list in an orderly manner, but i have always felt the need to keep going. Even after i have died for nearly 10 minutes on the way to a hospital, i never let failure, injury, anything stop me. My fursona, currently the one depicted in my icon, is no different. Every part of him, every change be it mutation or modification, has come from my personal overcomings of my own problems and crutches. More importantly, i still, even today, feel i should be able to stand up against anyone who threatens or challenges my way or life, my safety and well being, or my friends and family. And i simply cannot uphold that philosophy while i am stricken and crippled. So i get up, every day at 5 am. I do my stretches, my limbering up. I do my breathing and muscle excercises. And lastly my meditation to prepare and organize my damaged and scattered mind for the day ahead. The road may be bleak ahead, but we must keep moving forward, lest we be forgotten and left behind.
