I came home and noticed that my apartment had a new night watchman. (actually I think this little one is a female). Barely spotted her as I stepped into my door. A really beautiful and healthy banded gecko of a decent size. One of the local nocturnal lizards of the United States.

It is important to note, that while they are interesting to keep as pets, and very easy to take care of, I let her be after her little photo shoot. It's better that she stays around and eats the local pests for us hairless apes. The safer she feels around myself specifically, the more likely I am to see her again.
