I do like to end things unexpectedly.
Hell, even I didn't expect this. XD
So here's my final addition to my long list of favorite Pokémon; Vivillon.
Here's the thing: I hate bugs. In real life, that is. In Pokémon? I love 'em!
I used Butterfree in my Leafgreen playthrough waaaay back and despite everyone telling me how horrid it was... It was incredibly helpful! Same with Beedrill in my HeartGold playthrough. As well as Beautifly, Mothim, Leavanny, and of course Vivillon in all their respective generations.
Out of all of them though, Vivillon is by far the best. It has a good movepool, good stats for a Bug-type and I really like that it has so many different patterns. Mine, as you can see, is the Continental Pattern. Which... Eh, I like it. =3
Had to get used to its eyes though, I probably would have preferred if they were like Venonat's or Butterfree's. Or even Beautifly's. Aside from that, I do like how it incorporates the whole 'pixel' aspect so much, it's a fun gimmick. ^.-.^
As for his character... I dunno, Vivillon (next to Leavanny and Beautifly) seemed overly girly to me and I always see my Pokémon as male... well mostly. In Vivillon's case, since it was so feminine, even as a male, I wanted to play with that aspect. I got to thinking: "Do Pokémon even know what they're gonna evolve into?" So perhaps one silly Pokémon would think they were gonna evolve into a big fat Snorlax, only to finally turn into a Sudowoodo or something.
So with that said (jeez, this has got to be the longest description I've ever given), this is my final, final addition to my laundry list of favorite Pokémon, capping at 20 in total. Will I do more soon? No. Will I do more in the far future? Perhaps, we'll just have to see what Generation 7 has in store for us in 3 years or so. ;3

Awwwr hehe how utterly cute, bug pokemon are definetely quite underrated in the art world sadly.
Perhaps he needs to go out a little more, seeing everybody admire that ideal body of his will maybe boost his self esteem a bit ^w^
Which will probably lead to more eating as well x//3

There's two Event-only Patterns of that Pokemon, one of which comes with a Move that works only in battles when you can have more than one Pokemon out, but otherwise is a clone of the useless Move Splash. In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games before Gates to Infinity however, Splash actually does something! Makes you move one square in a random location. Doesn't sound like much, but if the space is already occupied by a Pokemon, both the user and the poor Pokemon getting hit by the user's body takes collision damage! Sadly that in Gates to Infinity, they made Splash useless like in the main games. I don't have Super Mystery Dungeon, did they make Splash do something again? Anyways, that multi-battle Splash Clone is called Hold Hands. I'd say keep that Move anyways if you have it on Vivillon, the animation for it is cute. Also, another thing of Event only Moves, the Pokebank Celebi has a False Swipe clone called Hold Back. I forgot what Type it is though...
