This is one of the paintings I did for one of my classes. It's heavily based on a Brad Holland painting because we were all forced to pick one of 5 artists that the teacher liked, and then "mimic their style and content, but create something new". Unlucky for me, I could not find any info on what Brad Holland's concepts were, so I tried to instead mimic his cheeky attitude by heavily mimicing something he did. My teacher hated it. He hated everything I made, because it was me making it.

Meanwhile, the other guy that got Brad Holland did a zombie apocalypse and the teacher loved that. Even though Brad would never paint that. Ah, prejudice!

So anyways, here's a Pootu in a suit. I was making fun of the ridiculous nature of life, business, my teacher, and the class. I was also being cheeky, but smart. I'm not a great painter, I'm not good enough to magically emulate someone without having something to reference.
