Rebuilding actually - Toy Chica was scrapped to improving "Old" Chica's appearance into what she look like in FNaF1. In fact, all "Old" Animatronics were ditched once the first restaurant was closed for the Grand Reopening, which they were all taking apart and put into the Part/Service to creating "Toy" Animatronics. But they got malfunctioned and scrapped because they were attacking the security guard (Jeremy's time) and had to shut the restaurant down second time.
Based on your mini story earlier; Bonnie was the same one as Toy Bonnie, same guy that Toy Chica loved. Or have you forgot?

I know, I don't forget my story.
But for me, The really old animatronics are destroyed after the bite of 87 happened. The Toys are disassembled so you can see them in a box full of parts. They made another animatronics because of these parts, so the big animatronics in FNAF 1 are new for me.
In my AU, Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy's memories and programs are trasfered to the new animatronics.
