A while ago, Drayk offered himself to act as a surrogate to carry some Eastern Dragon eggs. Namely Raijin's and some unspecified dragoness' eggs. Now, if you know Rai at all, you know he is a big proponent of equivalent exchange. The shurian acted very selflessly in offering his womb like this, so it was only fair that he help the shurian through this ordeal. The fact that if one of the eggs proved viable he'd become a father also playing a role in acting in a more protective way towards the intersexed male.

So he doted on the shurian. Quick to respond to any and all of the egg heavy male's needs. Whether it be filling some odd food craving, or a simple foot rub, he'd do it with a smile. The fact that Drayk may not always want, nor desire the eastern's help did not figure much into the equation.
