So, I blinked and already a hundred people have told you how far beyond awesome this is. Just to reiterate, this is beyond awesome.
I can't believe how big the second sculpture is either, twenty inches is practically two feet long! I remember you showing the original next to a CD and was really impressed by that, but it's great that you can push boundaries and go even further with the second one. Although I know some people have commented on the proportions I think that's more by virtue of the larger size than anything else, I think they are both excellent at capturing the cartoony dino look.
The paint detail is very nice too. I really like how you did the feet on the new one, I think it looks great even though it was probably more difficult to do. The same thing goes for getting all those individual teeth as well, but I'm really glad you did because the varying sizes of them are a great touch. Really nice job on the spots too, for both of them; the two shades of blue compliment each other very well and I think that's a big part of your distinctive look.
And as a side note, it is ridiculously unfair that you are this good at sculpting when your 2D works are already so good. :P
I know it was said somewhere that you were keeping these on a desk or something, but I hope they're somewhere that people can see them. I'm really glad you posted the pictures here, it would be a crime to make something like this and not let people see it. If you ever do wait for a convention to reveal something like this you better let us know because I can't think of a better reason to go.
Again, really amazing work. ^^ Thanks a lot for sharing it.
