"Teddy Bears' Picnic" is a song consisting of a melody by American composer John Walter Bratton, written in 1907, and lyrics added by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy in 1932. [1]

The song has been covered by many artist over the decades. Perhaps the most famous was Bing Crosby's version in 1950.[2]

So celebrate today; take your favorite huggable teddy (or other huggable anthropomorphic animal) on a picnic today.
