MY CHARACTER'S ORIGINUL, HURR
Pretty much what I tend to see a little too often, especially with some fursuit drama I've heard going on about coloration and digigrade legs... this is also including the grammar I see.
You cannot copywrite a color, a simple dog breed, or even a sewing pattern, or pose. I'm sorry dudes!
I don't have anything against rainbows (I like them sometimes,) but dude, sometimes it becomes a bit much. >.=.>
If any of you guys decide to share this, please include a link to my page.

ehh, people choose who they wanna commission. And when it comes down to it, art and fursuits are both luxury items.
If people have the money and wanna get a suit, good on them for getting something that makes them happy. Sure, some suit makers are complete snobs, and some overcharge for bad suits(though it's not like you're forced to commission them or anything...), but not all of them are, and many are talented artists who provide a unique and amazing product for those who can afford it.
I know that from a certain pov that some suit makers can come across as downright cold, but as someone who's taken commissions for years, the people on the buying end are hardly nice either. It's not to imply that the artists may be rude because others are, but I'm sure many have weary patience for intolerable customers. These people use their business as primary income, usually, so money does matter, time is money, and supplies cost money too.

yeah, that's just how it is, tbh.
But, when you think about it, fursuit artists have to deal with people who probably contact them on a daily basis for a suit quote, but never follow through on it. They also have to deal with making sure they satisfy their customers, order enough supplies, work within deadlines, ship out items, etc.
And yeah, they choose to get into that business, but it's a lot of work for very little profit, and I commend them for having any level of patience. When you think about it, the people they're dealing with is the furry community, and I'm sure many of us know exactly how terrible some of the people in our community are.
so, I'd probably be a bit of a snob too if I was an experienced suit builder, who not only has mastered a unique and awesome craft, but a technique that many people have no understanding of from a business perspective.

Honestly I don't even understand the necessity for rainbow sonas?? Like, you couldn't just stick with a reasonable colour palette, you just dumped a bunch of skittles on it and called it special.
But that's just me being nit-picky about the finer details of the drama cesspool that is the furry comm.

Yup. At least some furry artists have original designs. Though admittedly in my case, raccoons are in the top ten most selected species for fursonas and I had friends help make mine stand out a smidge, so I can't judge. But yeesh, I know some adults are like this so I should probably get a bag of candy and watch these fights unfold.
