What seems like a small project above, is a huge leap into animation for me. I am super excited and happy with how this turned out. This is the first frame animation I have ever attempted, and thought I would give it a go in avatar/icon sizing. Featured is one of my OCs (original characters), Solys. (Currently set as my avatar!)

A great learning experience, as well, since I didn't know that I could do animation directly inside of Photoshop CC! I will definitely be doing more simple animations in the future. This was really fun. Yay for new and exciting!

I think what I could have spent a little more time on to make it even better would be to dull the hair in time to the darkening background. But for the time being, I am leaving this as is and going to continue experimenting with a few things to see what else comes of my dabbling!
