Well, the aim was to make him look scary/evil n.n;; Guess I succeeded a little n.n;;

my favorite part is the belly scales but the eyes really stand out due to their brightness! really cool but still kinda cute :)

Nice use of colours dude, and the swirly fur pattern looks wicked. The head seems a bit lacking in form though. Overall though, pretty cool.

The head patterns are pretty cool too, but the main flaw is that the back of the head is a perfect curve, like his head is a sphere. And of course, heads aren't perfect spheres. Unless you're Sonic - but I don't like his design anyway :P

Hmm, but the original design of the head was a slightly mishapen circle. I think the way the horns are all curving in on themselves also accentuates that sphere-ness of the head shape too.

Evil Ranger looks fun to play with though... mm.. The piccie is abit dark so i cant see the tailfan you mentioned that well.

Hmm, at that angle you would probably see the horns where they go into the head, their bases wouldn't be hidden behind. I personally very much like the look, and to give your try at least -some- validity, it certainly looks more evil than your normal form. one can tell you also really tried to use the dark lighting to help and it does work =)
buuut, it's still ranger. and it's impossible to not say ranger and cute in the same train of thought ^^;
the scales do look very much furred, though without drawing in slight highlites or shadings of each individual scale, there is no real way around that.
overal, very nice job =)
now people will think I'm copying you when I post my 'evil' version of myself, which I had been wanting to do for months ^^;
