Muse has seen quite chipper lately and when I had finally asked why, she explained that her brother and sister were coming to spend time with us. I was greatly confused. She Muse. THE muse. Wasn't she? When she poked my nose, she then explained that she was just a Muse. She continued on letting me know that she was just a single source of inspiration. The source of music. That melody you hear in the back of your mind, or straight out. The is a source of inspiration that will get you to move. It's why she could only speak in notes. A melody. I understood a bit more. It made sense. When I inquired about her siblings she gave me a grin. She first told me of her older brother, Spark. I gave a dull expression at the name but she puffed up her cheeks and as she was about to go, a small flashed went off next to her. There stood a little figure that was actually shorter than Muse. Muse was already only about a foot tall and here was this boy shorter than her. He was quickly hugged by Muse throwing him off his balance. It was a humorous sight to see him try to shove her off. Yeah, definitely brother and sister. Once he finally got her off I introduced myself and he did the same. His way of speaking was an interesting one. While Muse spoke in melodies, he spoke in images. Not ones I could see physically but images in the mind. It's like I could hear his voice but I was more... seeing it. He explained what his sister had started, he was born by the first spark of imagination. When cavemen had left their cave and reached that point of intelligence where, they could form dreams. It wasn't ideas that were inspiration, those were done out of necessity. But when the first cavemen watched the sun set beyond the horizon and think of something more than that of needing to be home. That was the reason for his coloring. Since then he helped bring more interesting situations in to their lives. Help them tell stories to one another, draw on to the cave walls, and all the like. He was the first Spark of Imagination. That's how he got his name.

I saw Spark and Writ in a batch I had gotten and thought right then and there that Muse could do with some siblings. Quite happy with it too really!
