Once Spark had arrived, he and Muse had some catching up to do. That was when I heard something. They didn't seem to notice. it was a familiar voice, sort of like a self narrative that I was having. Something like this really. When I looked around around I saw her. This one must be Muse's sister. Blatantly. Taller than Muse but with a serious look on her face. When I mentioned that she seemed familiar, she spoke to me, in the very same way she always had. The words that floated through my mind explained it all. It was as if I was writing, but with her voice coming through as if she was the character that was speaking. She mentioned that she often visited me, though never made herself known. When I was young, I was often inspired by the stories I read. She was the reason behind that. She gave a bit of a smirk and explained that she was the inspiration derived from the written word. Her name was Writ. A bit of a bothersome name she felt, but that's what it was. She hopped from my shoulde rand walked over the table to Muse and Spark and waved, her face remaining as stoic as ever. She wasn't the bubbly sort, that much was clear. It's like she was the eldest of the three, and when I questioned, they turned to me and shook their heads. Muse explained that she was the youngest. Spark was the oldest. Spark was born upon the first bit of imagination. She was born when that imagination turned to melody causing caves to ring a harmonious way. Writ came much later when writing was fully established. When the written word became more than historical notation, but as a way to spread the stories to others without the use of voice. These three looked at me and smiled, well, what Writ passed off for a smile anyways, and then all at once thanked me for a place to stay. Muse was always at my side, I had no reason nor wish to turn away her siblings. Their home rested with me and they can come as go as they please. I also welcomed them so inspiration could fill the house and may even make some of the others become more productive. I warily looked over to see Alicen laying on the couch like a slob watching the television. I could only hope she'd be inspired to do more than getting an acting job every couple of months...
The inspiration of the written word. Think of her as the ideas that form in your mind when you read a book. Quite a treat I'd think. And that's all of the Inspirational Siblings. =3
