I hope you'll love it too! It's mostly a lot of sitting and contemplating while watching cool looking people walk by, talking about movies, TV, and comics. I get to talk about art-related things that really inspire me to think in new directions creatively. I don't want to hype it up too much though!

Johnnykat is taller than Roxi by a foot. Gideon should definitely be bigger and taller than Johnny, but not so much that he can't use the same pencils and paper. He probably would only have enough room under the chair for one of his hooves. I'm just guessing because I think his actual character is nine feet tall, where Johnny is only 6. Roxi's is 5.

Thank you, Astor! Yeah, I really like trying to do stuff with people's avatars inspired by real life stuff. It's something different from all the hyper craziness I like. I didn't think I'd be able to make Gideon in a slice-o-life kind of way, but I like how it came out. :)

From what I understand about myself, I'm pretty much straight for the most part....... and even I'M finding you two looking cute! o.o;; WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. =B

But really, it's good to see that you're drawing again. Does that mean you'll be drawing more and posting things up here? I thought that you were, but I guess those might have been a lot of past works. Your work never fails to impress and inspire me, but stop me if I'm going fanboy-ish. XD

On a side note, I hope you realize just how fortunate you are to have other great artists not only as good friends, but also within the same place! I'm sure you do realize it. I'm just saying. Hee.

Honestly though, it's fantastic that the two of you get to do something like that. I like to think the fandom has something of a community aspect to it so it's really great to see two artists able to get together as friends and just do stuff at the mall.

Plus I think you did a great job with both of you here. Like other people mentioned, it's neat to see just ordinary life drawn out like this. :3

And if you don't mind me asking, "geek about comic books and stuff?" It'd be cool to hear what kind of comic books and stuff you guys are into. ^^

I read Marvel books like Hulk, She-Hulk, Avengers, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Thunderbolts, Thor, Runaways, Hercules, Young X-Men, Stephen King's Dark Tower and the Stand. I read independents like Powers, The Walking Dead, Kick-Ass, and Street Fighter stuff from Udon Comics. The only DC comic I'm reading is Justice Society of America. I also collected almost all of the Transformers Animated toys, but I'm not into the IDW comics for them. I preferred the Dreamwave line.

I'm starting to feel kinda saturated and I might wind up dropping a lot of books to save money.

Gideon is boycotting Marvel until they bring back Captain America.

Wow, I'm really not surprised you feel over-saturated, that's a whole lot of titles. O.O It's great to see you're getting Ultimate Spider-Man though, because Amazing is...not doing so well, to say the least. And I'm really impressed at the sheer range of the titles too, it's great to see that you're open-minded enough to go for independent comics and stuff like Dark Tower. I've heard people are dropping some Marvel titles lately, I'm afraid the industry as a whole isn't doing so well.

I've really liked all the DC trades I've gotten, Identity Crisis and the like were great. I'm a big fan of the Elseworlds stuff, too.

And you have no idea how cool it is to hear that you guys do stuff like this. I'll have to note Gideon. ^^

You know how Marvel is these days. They'll bring him back in some weird, unrealistic (even in Marvel terms) way and then all the fans will cheer AND rant over it. I love Marvel so much... but the things they've been doing for the past few years up until now have just been so... ugh.

As for DC, I just can't get into it. I've tried and it just doesn't go for me. The only exception is Batman because....... well c'mon. He's the goddamn Batman!

And hell yes to Udon! I cannot wait for Darkstalkers vol. 2! Their panel at Otakon said they were going to continue. =B

That's what I'm waiting for the most. I'm such a DarkStalkers fan. I want to know about their stories more than the Street Fighter characters. I know they're more stylized and squash-and-stretch, but I still like them!

And if by 'goddamn Batman' you mean the All-Star Batman drawn by Jim Lee lately and written by Frank Miller, then you're aware of how amazingly awful that story is.

By 'goddam' Batman, I usually mean "most" of his stories. Yeah, the All-Star isn't great... I am thinking of trying to get into Green Latern. But I'm staying FAR away from Supes.

And I hear you on being a Darkstalkers fan. Hard core! X3 What I don't like is how they give SO much attention to Dimitri and Morrigan. I like Felicia and Donovan very much, but even they could use less. I want there to be more focus on some of the other characters. That's why I loved the focus on Victor; Love his story, his relationship to Emily, and how he wishes to protect others, despite what they do to him. Also like the focus on Talbain.

I'd LOVE to see focus on the less receptive characters like Rikuo, Zabel 'Lord Raptor' Zaroff, a bit more Victor, and Sasquatch. Though seeing how Darkstalkers tends to go, that might not happen. >.>
