stretch and squash is my fave part about animating. XD you can't draw pretty things when you do extreme movement, you just gotta do BLOBS AND BLOB RELATED SHAPES

I tried that and it looked like he just 'appeared' at the top. so I went more for the 'he grabbed onto the edge and pulled himself up' approach XD Idk, it's been so long since I've animated anything, I had to remind myself how the timing even works.

Oh gosh I love this animation. It's so squishy and adorable! The stand-up bit I think is my favorite, though the actual climbing out of frame is pretty cute too.
