these are, technically, 'furry' as its a form of anthropomorphism. these are often called 'flat faced' anthros and by definition are usually still anthro since they're personification of animals, just with a a heavier hand of human in them.
sure they aren't really my thing and the more animalistic anthros are more popular here, but you're splitting hairs tbh

These are technically furry, there are plenty of furries here on FA who have flat-face characters.

Calling the place a 'disgrace to the furry fandom' is insulting to all the furries who use and enjoy it.
And there are assholes everywhere. On FA. On SL. On every site. There is plenty of good and decent people on IMVU.

Honestly, the people in charge of the ads for IMVU are not the best. Here is some better examples of what avis on IMVU can look like.

IMVU is only limited by what people will make on it. There is plenty of furries on there who make furry products, and the more furries that join, the more furry products that will be made.
