Erwin Tongue shaded shadows and lighting image
I am still busy lately with my life/work and don’t have much time working on my reference.
Still making progress with it.
I am learning to shade shadows and it looks good to me how it turns out.
but guess what? making shade shadows is just freaking hard to do!
Watched many tutorials and myself trying much, figuring out what’s best to do.
So this is what I came out with. ^^
I am proud what I made and I believe my reference will turns out really great once it’s done. :)

When i said "sink your teeth" i was using a figure of speech.
Regardless, this seem like an improvement, the lines are a lot easier on the eye and ironically it feels a lot less blocky most likely thanks to the shading.
Of course there is always room from improvement but this looks like the right road you're travelling on, carry on.
