i was just noticing that ears always tend to be not quite where they would to be exactly on correct anatomy, it just struck me as an interesting thing in your work and seems to be part of your formula so to speak
i assumed it might be a perspective thing, that they ears are farther back on the head, but it has the same look on a side view, like the ears could just stay in the same location no matter the head orientation. was that close or am i way off on this? X3

Honestly I don't think I even noticed that. I think it might be that my ability in perspective and anatomy isn't too high, so I try to go for the best looking placements I can manage.

it works very well for you, even when thinking technically it might not be placed in the right spot, it always seems to look good and never has a feeling of being "off". =3
being of sorts a perfectionist, i guess i cant bring myself to disconnect a part from where it should technically go. so yea this was interesting, this seems to have uncovered a pitfall in my own work that goes against the style i'm trying to achieve o:

I'm glad it helps in some way. And yeah, no problem. I do pay attention to the comments but I usually try to reply to those that ask me questions or that I can at least say something more than just "Thanks!" otherwise I'd be replying to almost everyone with the same things.
